Co-led by Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House and Collingwood Neighbourhood House, the Youth Action Committee program’s goal is to support and empower the individual and collective voices of East Vancouver youth ages 14-19 through the development of community well-being, safety, & belonging. 🤝🌱

In the YAC program, youth will...

- Gain leadership and teamworking skills

- Build peer relationships & community connections

- Engage with workshops and project development

- Receive honorarium, FREE nutritious meals for participation

- Receive service hours + volunteer experience for their resumes

- Receive transit tickets to attend sessions

Starting December 3rd, 2024, YAC has been meeting weekly throughout the school year. The program takes place on Tuesdays 4-6pm at Collingwood Neighbourhood House, and occasionally at other locations and special events in Vancouver.
