Embracing the Reggio Emilia approach, Frog Hollow has developed quality, innovative programs to enhance the childcare experience.
The culture of our Preschool program, our values and our approach towards children and their families are based on a set of principles defined by our Reggio inspired philosophy. We believe in a Rich Image of the child and we are devoted in providing comfortable and democratic environments for children to learn through their many languages.
Our preschool program operates out of our Renfrew location from September to June. Using an emergent curriculum approach, children learn by sharing, experimenting, building theories, and constructing knowledge together. The curriculum is developed through classroom projects and experiences based on the children’s evolving interests. Our educators create inclusive programs for both children and their families, promoting respectful, open conversations and a welcoming, supportive environment for everyone in our diverse community.
Displays of children’s artworks, projects, stories and ventures are visible and documented showing their journeys at Preschool.

Schedule & Price
Our regular preschool program runs from September to June excluding Winter and Spring Break and all statutory holidays, and including Easter Monday and Boxing Day. Please check back for Summer Preschool Information.
3 DAY - Mon/Wed/Fri: $333.00/month
2 DAY - Tue/Thur: $227.00/month
5 DAY - Mon to Fri: $435.00/month
*All fees include the fee reduction
Waitlist Information
*Please note:
- Due to the high volume of wait list applications, we are unable to respond to individual inquiries regarding where your child is on the waiting list and anticipated enrollment date.
- All our spaces for this program are full. As spaces become available, we will contact people who are on the waitlist starting with our internal children, and their siblings.
Exciting Update: A new, streamlined childcare waitlist application and registration system is coming soon to all of the Association of Neighbourhood Houses of BC including Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House. Please note that during this short transition time we are not currently accepting new applications.
The new system will be open soon so stay tuned for more details!
